According to a newer health report that was issued on Osteoporosis for 2010, medical experts have upped the ante on the numbers of those who are expected to suffer from this disease over the years to come. Contributing factors include poor diets, lack of exercise, pollution, smoking, and numerous others, that have now caused experts to conclude that 1 in 2 women over the age of 50 years old will be diagnosed with Osteoporosis in the years to come. Furthermore, the experts have upped the numbers of anticipated Osteoporosis-related bone fractures in 2010 from last year’s estimates of just over 1 million, to a whopping 1.5 million for this forthcoming year.

That’s a lot of unnecessarily broken bones folks!

There are some things you can do to prevent or treat the onset of Osteoporosis and its related symptoms. To better help you along, here are just a few suggestions.

1. Get regular Osteoporosis screenings if you are over the age of 40. Catching Osteoporosis early on is crucial to preventative treatment.
2. Keep and maintain a healthy diet and workout daily, which experts suggest is one of the best ways to stave off the symptoms of Osteoporosis; by keeping strong muscles and bones.
3. Incorporate a daily Osteoporosis supplement, like PROVEN Bonexcin, to your diet—which can actually help to generate osteogenesis; the formation of new bone.
